‘SPIN TO WIN’ FREE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The ‘Spin to Win’ free draw (Free Draw) is run jointly by Firstcar Limited, of 58 Printing House Square, The Bars, Guildford, Surrey, England, GU1 4BU (the Promoter) and watch-learn-drive.com Limited, trading as SmartDriving, of 1 The Courtyard Goldsmith Way, Eliot Business Park, Nuneaton, England, CV10 7RJ.
  2. Both employees and the immediate family of employees of the Promoter are not permitted to enter the Free Draw.
  3. The Free Draw will run from 00:01 on 15th July 2026 to 23:59 on 14th July 2027 inclusive (Free Draw Period). Any entries received after this time will not be counted.
  4. In order to be entered into the Free Draw, entrants must enter through the online entry mechanism at the website https://www.firstcar.co.uk/win.
  5. Entrants must be 16 years old or over on the date of entry and resident in the UK.
  6. Entrants can only enter the Free Draw once during the Free Draw Period and multiple entries will be voided. This restriction applies to a participant’s initial Free Draw entry only and does not affect additional entries into the WAC Free Draw validly earned through the Refer-a-Friend Programme or other promotional activities as set out below.
  7. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
  8. The Promoter will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries.
  9. There is a wide variety of prizes on offer which are listed on the prize draw website www.firstcar.co.uk/driving/full-spin-to-win-prize-list (collectively the Free Draw Prizes).
  10. All Free Draw Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and no alternatives, cash or otherwise, will be offered.
  11. 1,434 winners will be randomly selected by the Free Draw software throughout the Free Draw Period.
  12. Winners will be notified by a pop up widow with detail on how to redeem the prize, and Free Draw Prizes will be delivered electronically in the case of an electronic prize or posted in the case of a physical prize.
  13. All prizes must be claimed within 28 days of the winner being notified.
  14. All Free Draw entrants that match the following criteria will be automatically entered into a second free draw to win a car (WAC Free Draw):

    a) Entrants must be 16 years old or over on the date of entry;
    b) Entrants must be learning to drive or have passed their driving test within the last 3 years; and
    c) Entrants must be resident in the UK (together the WAC Entry Criteria).

  1. The WAC Free Draw is run by Firstcar Limited and watch-learn-drive.com Limited, trading as SmartDriving, of 1 The Courtyard Goldsmith Way, Eliot Business Park, Nuneaton, England, CV10 7RJ and both employees and the immediate family of employees of the Promoter are not permitted to enter the WAC Free Draw.
  2. Qualifying entrants will automatically receive one entry into the WAC Free Draw. Additional entries may be awarded through promotional activities operated by the Promoter from time to time, including referral programmes, as set out within these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Refer-a-Friend Programme

    a) The Promoter will operate a refer-a-friend programme during the Free Draw Period.
    b) Only entrants with a valid Free Draw entry can participate in the programme.
    c) Entrants can receive additional entries into the WAC Free Draw by referring new entrants using a unique referral link provided by the Promoter.
    d) A valid referral shall be deemed to have occurred when:

    i. the referred individual has not previously entered the Free Draw;
    ii. the referred individual satisfies the eligibility criteria contained within these Terms and Conditions; and
    iii. the referred individual completes a valid entry via the referral link provided.

    e) For each valid referral code used, the entrant shall receive three additional entries into the WAC prize draw
    f) A maximum of 30 entries can be earned, so the equivalent of ten referral codes being used.
    g) Additional entries have no monetary value, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative benefit.
    h) Entrants should only share referral links directly with individuals whom they reasonably believe would be interested in the promotion and should not engage in unsolicited or bulk distribution of referral links.
    i) The Promoter may refuse, remove or invalidate additional entries where it reasonably believes that:
    i. multiple accounts have been created by the same individual;
    ii. false or misleading information has been provided;
    iii. automated, fraudulent, misleading or spam-based referral methods have been used; or
    iv. any other attempt has been made to manipulate the promotion.

    j) The Promoter’s decision regarding the validity of referrals and allocation of additional entries shall be final.

  4. The WAC Prize is a nearly new, Renault Clio, with a minimum value of £15,000 (WAC Prize).
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to change the specification of the car but will endeavour to ensure the car promoted is the one given away.
  6. The WAC Prize winner will be randomly selected from all valid WAC entries, including any valid additional entries awarded under Clause 17.
  7. The WAC Prize winner will be notified by e-mail or phone.
  8. The WAC Prize does not include travel to collect the prize and the winner must make their own arrangements.
  9. The WAC Prize also includes car insurance arranged through Adrian Flux Insurance Services up to a maximum value of £2,000.

    a) The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.
    b) If the annual premium is less than £2,000, no cash, credit or alternative benefit will be provided for the difference.
    c) If the annual premium exceeds £2,000, the winner will be responsible for paying the balance before cover can be arranged.
    d) The prize is subject to the winner satisfying all underwriting, eligibility and regulatory requirements and acceptance by the relevant insurer.
    e) The winner must provide complete and accurate information when applying for insurance. Any inaccurate or misleading information may result in cover being declined or the prize being withdrawn.
    f) The policy must be taken out in the winner’s own name and may not be transferred.
    g) The policy must be incepted within 12 months of the winner being notified.
    h) Standard policy terms, conditions, exclusions and excesses will apply.
    i) A cash alternative of £1,500 will be offered only in the event that Adrian Flux Insurance Services cannot offer the winner any insurance policy due to underwriting criteria. For the avoidance of doubt, if an insurance policy is offered but the premium exceeds £2,000, the winner may decline the policy, but they will not be entitled to the £1,500 cash alternative.

  1. The WAC Prize does not include road tax, vehicle registration, servicing, fuel or other running costs, or any tax that may arise in connection with the prize, all of which are the responsibility of the winner.
  2. The winner may be required to submit valid identification or evidence of the WAC Entry Criteria before receiving their Prize.
  3. By entering the Free Draw and/or the WAC Free Draw (if eligible), entrants agree to:

    a) these terms and conditions; and
    b) being contacted by the Promoter by post, phone, e-mail or text for marketing purposes, if they opt-in at the point of entry. Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of entering the Free Draw or the WAC Free Draw. Any breach of these terms and conditions by an entrant will void their entry.

  4. Entrants can opt-out of SMS marketing by replying to the Promoter’s text messages, however this reply will be charged at your standard network rate. Entrants can also do this for free by e-mailing [email protected].
  5. By entering, the winner agrees to their name and general location being used for publicity purposes. The Promoter will, on request, limit this to the winner’s county, and will consider reasonable requests from a winner not to be identified.
  6. Misrepresentative, fraudulent or artificially generated entries, referrals or accounts will invalidate all associated entries and may result in disqualification from the Free Draw and WAC Free Draw.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Free Draw and the WAC Free Draw at any time during the Free Draw Period where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary. Any changes will be posted online at www.firstcar.co.uk/win.
  8. In the event of any dispute regarding the Free Draw or the WAC Free Draw, the final decision of the Promoter shall be binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  9. The Promoter will not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the Free Draw, WAC Free Draw or accepting any prize. The Promoter will not accept any responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorised access to, entries or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or any other causes outside its control, including any injury or damage to the entrant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in, or the downloading of any materials in connection with, the Free Draw or WAC Free Draw.
  10. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
