Kidz driving school in Surrey

If you've yet to reach your 17th birthday and you're based in Surrey or Hampshire, you can get behind the wheel with Kidz driving school.

Formed in 2014, Kidz Driving School offers budding motorists aged 10-16 the opportunity to hone their driving skills in a controlled environment, so they can build their confidence before taking to public roads.

“We are fully aware of the high percentage of young drivers involved in collisions and hope that we can help to reduce these figures by educating young people at an earlier age.”

Based at Dunsfold Park in Surrey and Alton in Hampshire, Kidz driving school gives young drivers the chance to experience road markings, parking bays, roundabouts, a dual carriageway, traffic lights and parallel parking first hand. The sessions are delivered by DVSA-approved driving instructors, all of whom are CRB-checked and have cars with dual controls.

The lessons are taught to the same standard as the school’s on-road lessons, covering everything from the basic skills of driving to the manoeuvres which feature on the practical driving test. Kidz driving school has also teamed up with a local secondary school to offer free driving sessions for pupils with high attendance records.

Sam Watson of Kidz driving school said: “We think it is really important to get the road safety message into schools.
