The Ultimate Guide to Cycling encourages young people to take up cycling, and to see it as a viable alternative to public transport and motor vehicles. Most importantly, The Ultimate Guide to Cycling encourages riders to stay safe on two wheels with practical tips and advice. It also foregrounds the value of professional training.
The 52-page magazine is published annually in an A5 format. Some 75,000 copies are distributed annually, typically through schools, colleges and at cycling safety events. The magazine can be enjoyable and educational in its own right, but can also be used to repeat and reinforce key road safety messages delivered through other forms of intervention.
